Results : A positive correlation was found between nursing students¡¯ patient safety competency and critical thinking disposition (r£½.58, p£¼.001) and nursing professionalism (r£½.43, p£¼.001); moreover, nursing professionalism was correlated with critical thinking (r£½.46, p£¼.001). Nursing professionalism appeared to have a partial mediating effect in the relationship between critical thinking disposition and patient safety competency, and the explanatory power of critical thinking disposition and patient safety competency increased by 35.4% (F£½39.06, p£¼.001).
